The studio
Custom art, conceived for the space and made by hand.

The Polycrafted was founded by Alexander Partman, a Los Angeles artist with a formal creative background and years of work alongside designers, stagers and developers. He kept meeting the same moment: a professional with a finished room, a clear idea of the piece that belonged on the wall, and no one to make it at the right scale, in the right time, without compromise. The studio exists to be that answer. It was built for professionals first, interior designers, staging companies, hotels and production, and for the private clients they bring with them.

The Polycrafted is a creative studio specialising in custom artwork for interiors. We design and produce large-scale paintings, murals, sculpture and one-off furniture and objects, each conceived for a specific space and executed by hand, from an original composition to a piece created in the spirit of a reference you bring us. Every project begins with a custom artwork consultation: we study the room, its light and its proportions, and translate your vision into a proposal you can see, rendered in place, with a fixed price and a lead time. From concept to installation, the studio takes care of everything. If you can picture it on the wall, we can make it real.

What we do

The Polycrafted makes art for specific interiors. Large-scale paintings, diamond dust on canvas, murals painted on site, sculpture, one-off furniture and objects. Every piece is designed with the room it will live in, not placed in it afterwards, and every piece is made once.

The studio is led by Alexander Partman, painter, working from Los Angeles for residences and projects across Southern California and beyond.

How we work

From the room to the wall

A conversation about the space

Plans or photos, the palette, the light, the client. Alexander advises on scale, placement, medium and composition.

A proposal you can see

The concept, a photoreal render of the piece in the actual room at true scale, and a fixed price with lead time. Revised until it is right, before anything is committed.

Made by hand

The piece is painted, built or sculpted in the Los Angeles studio. Original composition, archival materials, diamond dust finish where it belongs.

Delivered and installed

Crated, delivered and hung by the studio. The room is left as it was found, with the piece on the wall.

Who we work with

Professionals first

The studio works alongside the people responsible for an interior, and takes on a limited number of projects each year.

What to expect

Bring a reference. Leave with a piece that is yours.

Most projects start with something you already love: a painting seen in a hotel, a style, an era, a mood board, a photograph on your phone. The studio takes that reference as the starting point and creates a new piece in its spirit, with the subject, the palette, the scale and the composition adapted to your space. Change what needs changing, keep what you fell for. The result is a work made for your wall, not a copy of someone else's.

Images you own, and works in the public domain, can be reproduced faithfully by hand at any scale. In every case you see the piece in your room before it exists, and you receive a fixed price and a lead time before you commit. Diamond dust, the studio's signature finish, catches light from every angle and changes as you move through the room.

Start with the room.
